Ettehad conquered the Arab Club Championship trophy. They overcame Beirut Club in the Final on Thursday. It was a tough battle between well-matched sides. Beirut Club gained a 21:18 lead after the opening quarter. They arrived at big break up by three points 42:39. But Ettehad made a decisive run in the third term. The Egyptian side sank 28 points to secure a 7-point advantage at the final intermission. Beirut Club tried to avoid the defeat as they sank 26 points in the fourth quarter but came up short at the end. US Monastir finished third at the championship. They beat hosting AS Sale 77:74 to step onto the pedestal.

Ettehad faced Tunisian US Monastir in the first semifinal battle. It was a tough battle but the Egyptian team managed to get away with a narrow 86:79 win at the end. Beirut Club took on hosting AS Sale. The Lebanese team prevailed at the end 89:80 to reach the title game.
