McKinney-Jones re-signs at Thunders

Trey McKinney-Jones

Gunma Crane Thunders (B1 League) confirmed in their roster 33-year old USA ex-international guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198cm-100kg-1990, college: Miami, FL) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He has played there for the last four seasons.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015. McKinney-Jones was a member of the USA Senior National Team back in 2018.
He is a very experienced player. McKinney-Jones has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played professionally in France (Gravelines Dunkerque), Germany (Telekom Baskets), Hungary (Kormend), Israel (Maccabi Kiryat Gat), NBA (Milwaukee Bucks, San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants) and The Basketball Tournament (Fort Wayne Champs).
In addition to winning the Japanese B League D2 championship title in 2021, McKinney-Jones was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League Guard of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from the University of Miami in 2013 and it will be his 12th season as a pro player.
