Naturalized American Forward Josh Hawkinson (208-F-1995) had a great game in the last round for Sunrockers Shibuya and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out San-en NP (#2, 15-4) 78-74. SunRockers maintains the 4th position in their group in the Japanese B1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sunrockers Sh. will need more victories to improve their 12-7 record. In the team's last game Hawkinson had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It's his second year at SunRockers and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Josh Hawkinson averages this season 17.4ppg and 8.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Charles Jackson (208-C-1993) of Kyoto Hannaryz. Jackson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Kyoto H. cruised to a 93-82 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Shiga L-Stars (#8, 1-18). Kyoto H.'s 4th position in West has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-10 record. Jackson is well-known by Kyoto H. fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Spanish Sebastian Saiz (205-PF-1994) of top-ranked Toyota Alvark Tokyo. Saiz scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Alvark Tokyo, leading his team to a 86-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Nagoya DD (#5, 8-11). Alvark Tokyo confirms their top position in Central. Saiz has a very solid season. In 19 games in Japan he scored 16.8ppg. He also has 7.6rpg and a FGP of 55.0%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
