Dikembe Dixson (ex Al Karkh) is a newcomer at Hoops

Dikembe Dixson

Hoops Club (LBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American 201cm forward Dikembe Dixson (college: UIC). He played recently at Al Karkh in Iraqi Superleague. In 11 games he recorded very impressive stats: 31.0ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.5apg and 3.3spg last season. The last season season he played at Al Safa of Safwa (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league.
He represented USA at the CIT Championship Finalist seven years ago.
Dixson is a very experienced player. Thanks to Dixson's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. He has played previously professionally in Brazil (UNIFACISA), Finland (Karhubasket), Italy (Brindisi), Luxembourg (T71 Dudelange), Saudi Arabia, Switzerland (Monthey-Chablais), North Macedonia (Vardar) and NBA G League (Windy City Bulls and Capital City Go-Go).
Among many awards his team won Finnish League Regular Season in 2023. Dixson was also voted to All-Horizon League Freshman of the Year back in 2016 at his college time.
He graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
