Nysier Brooks (ex Samara) agreed terms with New Taipei CTBC DEA

Nysier Brooks

New Taipei CTBC DEA (TPBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American 213cm center Nysier Brooks (college: Ole Miss). He already started the season at BC Samara in Russian VTB United League. In 13 games he recorded 3.7ppg and 2.9rpg. The last season summer he played at Nasty Nati (Cincinnati Alumni) in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He is a very experienced player. Brooks has played also professionally in Canada, France (SIG Strasbourg) and Latvia (VEF Riga). His team made it to the French Cup Finalist in 2024 final.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Latvian-Estonian Basketball League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from University of Mississippi in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball. Brooks played for other colleges like: University of Miami, University of Cincinnati.
