#1. NiQuan Cousins, a 6'4'' guard who graduated from Bluefield in 2020 and received the All-AAC First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the ECBL. In a recent game, Cousins led the Winston-Salem Wolves to a thrilling 132-125 victory over the Gastonia Snipers. He was the MVP of the game, showcasing his skills with a double-double performance of 30 points, 17 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 4 steals. Despite Cousins' outstanding individual performances, the Winston-Salem Wolves have a somewhat modest 7-6 record this season. With only one more game left in the ECBL Regular Season, Cousins' team faces a crucial match ahead. Cousins recently displayed a remarkable performance against Gastonia Snipers, where he scored 30 points, grabbed 17 rebounds, and contributed 1 assist. Even though his team did not emerge as the victors, his exceptional efforts were recognized with the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. Throughout the season, Cousins has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 24.4 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game in the 11 games he has played so far.
#2. Donavon Martin, a 6'5'' guard and Rams alumnus from the class of 2026, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene, currently playing for a team in the ECBL. In a recent game against the Carolina Thunder, Martin proved to be a major contributor to the North Carolina Capitals' victory, with a stellar performance that showcased his skills on the court. Despite it being only his first season in professional basketball, Martin demonstrated his prowess by achieving a double-double, scoring 16 points and securing 11 rebounds, along with 2 blocks. This notable performance was instrumental in leading his team to a significant win, breaking a streak of five consecutive losses for the North Carolina Capitals. The team, with a rather weak 6-6 record this season, will have one final game in the East Coast Basketball League Regular Season, which holds great importance for their standings. Martin's exceptional display on the court did not go unnoticed, as he was recognized with the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his reputation as a champion player. Individually, Martin has had an impressive season, boasting high averages of 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game across 12 games. His remarkable performance and consistent stats throughout the season underscore his talent and potential as a standout finalist in the league.

D'Monte Evans, a 6'3'' forward who graduated from Bluefield in 2020 and currently plays professionally in the ECBL, showcased his leadership skills by guiding the Carolina Crusaders to a remarkable victory over the North Carolina Coyotes, with a final score of 138-129 in the East Coast Basketball League last Saturday. Evans displayed his versatility on the court by scoring 12 points, dishing out 6 assists, and recording 3 steals during the game. Despite the Carolina Crusaders having a somewhat modest season record of 6-7, Evans' exceptional performance against the NC Coyotes highlighted his impact on the team. With only one more game left in the East Coast Basketball League Regular Season, every match is crucial for the team's standings. Against the NC Coyotes, Evans demonstrated his skills by contributing 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists to the game. His outstanding performance was pivotal in leading his team to victory and ultimately securing their position as the champion. Individually, Evans has had an impressive season with notable statistics, averaging 16.9 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, 3.8 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game over the course of 11 games. His consistent performance and leadership qualities have undoubtedly played a significant role in the success of the Carolina Crusaders this season.
