#1. Dutch champion Luuk Van Bree, a 6'8'' forward who is 30 years old and graduated from Bradley in 2019 after helping them win the MVC Tournament that year, currently plays professionally in Holland. In a recent game last Tuesday, Van Bree unfortunately could not lead Den Bosch to victory as they were defeated 86-71 by the lower-ranked Zwolle at home. Despite the loss, Van Bree displayed a stellar performance, finishing as the top scorer with 16 points while also contributing 6 rebounds and 3 assists in just 26 minutes of play. His all-around effort was commendable, showcasing his skills on both ends of the court. Throughout the season, Van Bree has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. His consistent performance on the court highlights his importance to Den Bosch as they strive for success in the league.
#2. Experienced Auston Barnes, a 6'8'' power forward at 34 years old and an alum of the Braves class of 2015, showcased his skills in Hungary last Wednesday but could not lead Szolnok (23-3) to victory. Despite his commendable effort, the fifth-placed Szolnok was convincingly defeated 113-82 on their home court by the sixth-ranked Szombathely in the Play-Off group. Barnes, in his first season with the team, managed to score 10 points and provide 3 assists in just 19 minutes of play. In the challenging game against Szombathely, Barnes displayed his talent by contributing 10 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. Despite his strong performance, Szolnok was unable to secure a win against their opponents. Throughout the season, Barnes has maintained relatively good statistics with an average of 12.0 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game.
#3. Duke Deen, a talented 5'8'' point guard who graduated from Bradley in 2025 and received the prestigious All-MVC First Team award that year, currently plays professional basketball in Denmark. Recently, he showcased his skills on the court by leading Bakken Bears to a thrilling 87-81 victory over the second-ranked Naestved in the Danish BasketLigaen. In this highly anticipated matchup between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6, Deen's performance was exceptional. He scored 11 points, secured 1 rebound, and provided 3 assists in just 23 minutes of play, playing a crucial role in securing the win for his team. Bakken Bears Aarhus, now holding a record of 26-6, sits confidently in the top spot of the standings following this important victory. Deen's contributions have been consistent throughout the season, with impressive averages of 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. His dedication and skill on the court have undoubtedly played a significant role in helping his team emerge as the champion in this intense game, proving once again why he is a standout player in the league.
