#1. Kyle Benjamin (6'9''-F/C-91, graduated '17, plays pro in Mexico). He could not help Pioneros de Los Mochis (0-1) to beat Caballeros de Culiacan (1-0) in the Mexican CIBACOPA. Benjamin recorded only 4 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and made 2 blocks in 28 minutes. It was his first game for Pioneros de Los Mochis this season. Pioneros de Los Mochis was badly defeated88-72on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) Caballeros de Culiacan. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
#2. Experienced Charles Vanderpool (6'8''-F/C-86, graduated '09, plays in Barbados) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Pinelands in their game against Bridgetown (9-2) in the Barbados BABA. He scored 5 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Pinelands was edged76-74at home by the second-ranked Bridgetown. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Vanderpool averages 8.6ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.9apg and 2.2bpg. He has also Barbados citizenship.
#3. Ramon Simmons (6'4''-F-86, graduated '08, currently in Barbados) is a teammate of previously mentioned Charles Vanderpool and both played together in the last Barbados BABA game. Simmons was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Pinelands (8-2) in their game against Bridgetown (9-2). It was not his best game last Sunday. Simmons scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 19 minutes. Pinelands was edged76-74on their home court in by the second-ranked Bridgetown. Simmons has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.3apg and 2.7spg in three games he played so far.
#4. Kirk Williams (6'7''-PF-86, graduated '10, plays pro in Canada) was the major contributor in a Windsor Express' victory against the Halifax Hurricanes (6-16) 120-113 in the NBLCanada in Wednesday night's game. He scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. The Windsor Express have 10-11 record this season. Williams has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.1apg.
