#1. Alex Garcia (6'4''-G, played in 2018-25, plays pro in Bosnia) could not help Zrinjski HT (1-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Zrinjski HT was badly defeated95-76 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Promo. Garcia was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 37 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Garcia's first season in pro basketball. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Garcia's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Garcia averages 15.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.4apg in five games he played so far.
#2. Vincent Golson Jr. (5'8''-PG-1994, played in 2015-17, plays in Croatia) was not able to help the league outsider Sibenka (0-6) in their last game on Monday. Despite Golson Jr.'s good performance the bottom-ranked Sibenka was crushed94-70 at home by the higher-ranked Zadar (#8). He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Golson Jr. also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Golson Jr.'s first year with the team. This season he averages 8.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.3apg.
#3. Adam Afifi (6'9''-F, played in 2024-25, currently in Portugal) led Galomar to a 3-point victory over the leader Portimonense (5-1) 81-78 in the Portuguese Proliga (second division) in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Afifi had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds in 29 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group South. AD Galomar (4-2) is placed third. It's Afifi's first year with the team. Afifi has very impressive stats this season 20.0ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.7spg in three games.
#4. Jacob Washington (6'8''-F/C-1999, played in 2023-24, plays pro in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Langen (1-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Washington's very good performance the 13th-placed Langen (1-6) was defeated 72-60 in Dresden by the higher-ranked Titans (#10) in the South group. He was the top scorer with 19 points. Washington also added 6 rebounds. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Washington has very high stats. He averages 19.4ppg and 7.2rpg.
