#1. Lebanese basketball player Gerard Hadidian, a 6'8'' power forward aged 31, who graduated from Lake Land in 2016 and currently plays professionally in Lebanon, played a crucial role in his team's dominant 99-73 victory over the closely-ranked Al Markaziyyah (13-8) in the Lebanese Decathlon Lebanese Basketball League on Saturday night. In just 19 minutes of play, he scored 6 points and secured 5 rebounds, displaying his talent and contributing significantly to the win. This highly anticipated game featured two top 4 ranked teams, with Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (18-3) standing at second place in the league. Hadidian's team's triumph marked their eighth consecutive win, showcasing their impressive form and determination as they head towards the end of the Regular Season. Hadidian's performance against Al Markaziyyah exemplified his capabilities as a champion, as he played with skill and determination to help his team emerge victorious. His consistent contributions on the court have been instrumental in leading his team to success as the finalist. Throughout the season, Hadidian has been maintaining solid averages of 9.8 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game, further solidifying his importance to his team's performance.
#2. Samuel Hincapie, a towering guard standing at 6'5'' and an alumnus of the Dolphins from 2026, previously honed his skills at Lake Land between 2023 and 2025 before transitioning to professional basketball in Colombia. Despite his notable background, Hincapie was unable to propel the Caimanes (8-6) to victory in their recent game. Facing off against the second-ranked Paisas last Friday, Caimanes fell short with a score of 88-81 on the road. In the match, Hincapie showcased his prowess by emerging as the team's second-best scorer, contributing 16 points and securing 5 rebounds in just 23 minutes of gameplay. His commendable performance against the Paisas highlighted his scoring capabilities and rebounding prowess. However, despite his individual efforts, Caimanes could not secure the win. Throughout the season, Hincapie has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 16.3 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, and 1.8 assists per game. His consistent performance on the court underscores his value as a key player for the team, even in the face of challenging matchups against formidable opponents like the Paisas.
#3. Tremon Weston, a 6'9'' center who is 26 years old and graduated from IU Northwest in 2020, previously played for Lake Land between 2018 and 2019 before turning pro in the TBL. In a recent game on Sunday night, Weston, despite scoring only one point in 3 minutes on the court, played a pivotal role in helping the St. Louis Griffins defeat the Lebanon Leprechauns with a score of 136-124 in The Basketball League. This victory marked the third consecutive win for the Griffins, who currently hold an 11-3 record this season. Weston's contribution of 1 point and 3 rebounds against Lebanon was instrumental in securing the victory for his team. As the regular season is coming to a close, with only two games remaining, every game becomes crucial for the teams vying for a spot in the playoffs. Weston's consistent performance throughout the season, with an average of 2.0 points per game and 2.1 rebounds per game, has been valuable for the Griffins. His impact on the court, despite limited playing time in this particular game, highlights his ability to make a difference when it matters most. Weston's dedication and skill have been essential in leading his team to success and ultimately emerging as the champion.
