#1. Ria Pateraki (6'1''-PF-93, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Greece) led Esperides to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Proteas (3-4) 80-64 in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game. She recorded 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (made all of her five free throws) in a mere 16 minutes. GS Esperides Kalliotheas (5-2) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Pateraki averages 9.7ppg and 4.6rpg in seven games she played so far.
#2. Tamara Abalde (6'3''-F-89, played in 2007-08, plays in Spain) managed to help Valencia BC to win against the 11th-ranked Zamarat (3-7) 63-47 in the Spanish LFB last Saturday. She recorded only 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Valencia BC (6-4) is placed sixth in the LFB. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's Abalde's first season with the team. This year Abalde averages 7.9ppg and 4.0rpg.
#3. Kalis Loyd (6'2''-G-89, graduated '13, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A1 could not help Sesto SG (4-6) to beat Venezia (10-0). She recorded 7 points and had 3 steals in 21 minutes. Sesto SG was crushed 77-53 at home by the leading Venezia. It was Sesto SG's third consecutive loss in a row. It's Loyd's first season with the team. Loyd has relatively good stats this year 14.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg in six games.
