#1. Australian Mam Ayuel, a towering 7'0'' forward who graduated from MVSU in 2018 and currently plays professionally in Australia, recently showcased his skills in a game between his team, the Camberwell Dragons, and the Cougars in the Australian Big V Conference, which is the third division of basketball in Australia. Despite Ayuel's notable performance, the Camberwell Dragons were unable to secure a victory against the Cougars, ultimately losing 82-89 on the road to the lower-ranked (#7) team. During the game, Ayuel made a significant impact by scoring 5 points, pulling down 9 rebounds, and blocking 2 shots in just 13 minutes of play. His contributions were commendable, but unfortunately, his team fell short in the end. In a previous game against McKinnon, Ayuel once again displayed his skills by scoring 5 points and grabbing 9 rebounds, demonstrating his consistency and value to the team. In his seven games played this season, Ayuel has been averaging 5.0 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, and an impressive 2.0 blocks per game, making him the league's leader in blocks. Despite the outcomes of some games, Ayuel's performance on the court has been noteworthy and impactful for the Camberwell Dragons as they strive to compete in the Australian Big V Conference.
