Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Lumberjacks players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Amy Patton, an experienced 5'10'' guard who graduated from NAU in 2013 and received the All-Big Sky Conference First Team award that year, showcased her skills playing professionally in Australia. In a recent game, despite her stellar performance, Patton couldn't lead the Warrandyte Venom (3-9) to victory as they faced the higher-ranked (#6) Hume City Broncos on the road. Patton managed to achieve a double-double, scoring 10 points and securing 12 rebounds in 35 minutes of play. Her remarkable effort against the formidable Hume City Broncos included not only her scoring and rebounding but also contributing 2 assists. Although Patton has been putting up relatively good stats this season, averaging 10.4 points, 10.3 rebounds (the second-best in the league), 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in the 12 games she has played so far, her team's recent loss reflects the challenges they are facing in the league.
