Best performed former Philander Smith College players in pro basketball in last week games(03/13/2020)

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Panthers players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Devon Scott (6'9''-F/C-94, graduated '16, plays pro in Brazil) was the major contributor in a Minas Belo Horizonte's victory against the 12th-ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (11-14) 94-84 in the Brazilian NBB last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 12 rebounds in 32 minutes. Minas Belo Horizonte (16-9) is placed fourth in the NBB. It's Scott's first season with the team. Scott has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 7.8rpg and 2.2apg in 25 games he played so far.

   #2. Ken Brown (5'11''-PG-89, graduated '12, plays in Greece) led Aris to a surprising victory over the sixth-ranked Ifestos (11-9) 88-77 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. Brown was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and added 5 passes. Aris Thessaloniki (6-14) is placed 13th in the A1. It's Brown's first season with the team. Brown has relatively good stats this year 13.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 3.2apg.

   #3. Ronald March (6'5''-G/F-93, graduated '16, currently in France), who plays in the French ProB (second division) could not help Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (9-14) in their last game. Despite his good performance Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket was edged78-76on the road by the second-ranked Quimper UJAP. March recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in 33 minutes. It was Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket's sixth consecutive loss in a row. It's March's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. March averages 16.6ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.3apg and 2.2spg in 23 games. March is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #4. Ernest Maize (6'8''-F/C-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Spain) led Adepla to a victory against the eighth-ranked Mijas Quabit (5-6) 83-74 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Saturday. Maize recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 17 rebounds. Adepla Basket Plasencia (6-3) is placed first in Group D-Perman. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Maize has very high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1bpg.
