#1. Daulton Hommes, a 6'9'' forward and 29-year-old professional basketball player who graduated from PLNU in 2019 and received the All-PacWest Player of the Year award that same year, currently plays for a team in France. In a recent game for Paris Basketball (22-8), despite his notable performance, Hommes could not prevent his team from being narrowly defeated 90-89 by the lower-ranked (#5) Cholet Basket on the road. Hommes demonstrated his scoring prowess by leading his team with 22 points while also contributing 4 rebounds in just 23 minutes of play. His standout performance against Cholet included not only his scoring and rebounding but also 1 assist. However, despite his individual efforts, Paris Basketball was unable to secure the victory in that game. Throughout this season, Hommes has maintained an average of 9.3 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game across the 16 games he has participated in thus far. Despite the outcome of the recent game, Hommes continues to showcase his skills and contribute to his team's efforts on the court.
#2. Australian guard Darnell Robateau, standing at 6'1'' and 28 years old, is a Sea Lions alumnus from 2019 who played a pivotal role in helping them secure the ACCAC Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Robateau showcased his talent in a recent game where he led the Sunshine Coast Phoenix to a resounding 116-87 victory over the fifth-ranked Thunder in the Australian NBL One, the second division league. Scoring an impressive 26 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 9 assists in just 29 minutes of play, Robateau's performance was nothing short of exceptional. The Sunshine Coast Phoenix, with a record of 6-2, currently holds the third position in the North group standings, thanks in part to Robateau's contributions. With this win, his team secured their fourth consecutive victory, further solidifying their position in the league. Facing off against Logan T., Robateau's remarkable display on the court highlighted his prowess as a champion player. Throughout the season, Robateau has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game in the eight games he has played so far. His consistent performance and leadership qualities demonstrate why he is considered a champion both on and off the court.
