Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hawks alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Tanner Stuckman (6'9''-F-1997, played in 2016-16, plays pro in Spain). He could not help Oviedo (1-2) to beat Coruna (6-2) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Stuckman scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 18 minutes. Oviedo lost 77-88 on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Coruna. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Stuckman's first year with the team. This season he averages 8.3ppg and 3.4rpg in eight games he played so far.
#2. Aziz Fadika (6'7''-C-1997, played in 2018-20, plays in Spain) was not able to help Huelva Comercio Viridis in their game against Iraurgi SB (5-3) in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division). He scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. The 13th-placed Huelva Comercio Viridis (2-6) was defeated 79-72 in Azpeitia by the much higher-ranked Iraurgi SB (#5) in the West group. It was Huelva Comercio Viridis' third consecutive loss in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Fadika has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg and 6.6rpg. He is a naturalized Ivorian.
#3. Reece Efole (6'8''-C-1999, graduated '2022, currently in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Quintanar (2-6) in their game against Tobarra (3-5) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). It was not his best game last Saturday. Efole scored only 2 points in 11 minutes. The 13th-placed Quintanar (2-6) lost 62-69 at home to the higher-ranked (#8) Tobarra in the Group B-B. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Efole's first year with the team. This season he averages 3.8ppg and 6.5rpg in eight games.
