#1. Zen Maki (6'2''-G-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Japan) contributed to a 3-point Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo's victory against the ninth-ranked Yokohama BC (6-11) 75-72 in the Japanese B1 League in Sunday night's game. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 23 minutes. Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo (8-9) is placed eighth in East group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Maki averages 3.1ppg and 1.3rpg in 16 games he played so far.
#2. Lewayne Grant (6'0''-PG-97, graduated '19, plays in Montenegro) led Pljevlja to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Zeta (4-4) crushing them 87-55 in the Montenegrin Prva B (second division) last Sunday. He scored 12 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists. KK Pljevljais placed tenth in the Prva B. It's Grant's first season with the team. Grant has relatively good stats this year 15.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 4.5apg and 4.0spg.
#3. Naaman Hightower (6'7''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Montenegro) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lewayne Grant and both played together in the last Montenegrin Prva B game. Hightower managed to help KK Pljevlja in a victory against the closely-ranked Zeta (4-4) crushing them 87-55. He scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 14 minutes. It's Hightower's first season with the team. This year Hightower averages 7.3ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.1apg in seven games. Worth to mention Hightower played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#4. Jordan Hickman (6'7''-G-96, graduated '19, plays pro in Spain) could not help Socuellamos (6-7) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Hickman's good performance the tenth-placed Socuellamos (6-7) was crushed92-71on the road by the higher-ranked La Matanza (#7) in the Group B. He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Hickman also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Hickman has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg.
