#1. Experienced basketball champion Urald King, a 6'6'' forward who is 35 years old and graduated from SE Oklahoma in 2014 with an All-GAC First Team award, currently plays professionally in Germany. In a recent game, King, playing for VET-CONCEPT Gladiators Trier, faced off against the formidable Bayern Muenchen in the German easyCredit BBL. Despite King's commendable performance of scoring 8 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in just 17 minutes of play, his team suffered a heavy defeat of 99-62 on the road against Bayern Muenchen. This loss marked VET-CONCEPT Gladiators Trier's fifth consecutive defeat in a row. His efforts on the court were notable, with King contributing significantly with 8 points and 4 rebounds against Bayern Muenchen. However, despite his strong performance, his team was unable to secure a victory in the game. Throughout this season, King has been averaging 8.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in the 39 games he has participated in so far.
#2. Australian Kyle Leslie, a former Savage Storm alumnus from 2024 standing at 6'7'' and playing as a forward, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene in Australia. After helping his team to clinch the GAC Regular Season Co-Champion title in 2024, Leslie has continued to excel as he now plays for Cairns Marlins in the Australian NBL One, the second division of basketball in Australia. In a recent game, Leslie led the Cairns Marlins to a resounding victory over the fifth-ranked Meteors with a dominating score of 110-83. Despite facing a tough opponent, Leslie showcased his skills by contributing 11 points in just 26 minutes of play. This stellar performance not only helped secure the win for his team but also showcased his capabilities as a champion on the court. Currently, the Cairns Marlins hold a strong second position in the North group with a perfect record of 6-0 in the Regular Season. Leslie's consistent contributions have been crucial to his team's success, with an impressive average of 8.5 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game in the four games he has played this season. With Leslie's talent and determination, he continues to prove himself as a valuable asset to the Cairns Marlins, aiming to lead his team to further victories and cement his status as a finalist in the league.
