Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hilltopper alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Lucas Doria (4 points), Uche Dibiamaka (19 points), and Glenn Morison (16 points).

#1. Brazilian champion Lucas Doria, a 28-year-old center standing at 6'8'' who graduated from St. Edward's in 2020, showcased his skills while playing professionally in Brazil. Recently, he played a key role in helping Clube de Regatas do Flamengo secure a victory against closely-ranked Brasilia with a score of 96-88 in the Brazilian Novo Basquete Brasil. Despite only scoring 4 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in 14 minutes of play, Doria's contribution was instrumental in his team's success. Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, currently placed fifth in the league with a record of 28-10, achieved their third consecutive win with Doria's help. His performance against Brasilia not only aided in the victory but also demonstrated his value as a crucial player in the team's triumph. This achievement highlights Doria's capabilities as a champion on the court. Throughout the season, Doria has maintained an average of 3.5 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game, showcasing his consistency and reliability as a player. As a finalist in the LSC Tournament during his time at St. Edward's, Doria continues to prove himself as a skilled and impactful player in the professional basketball scene.

#2. Nigerian player Uche Dibiamaka, a towering 6'4'' guard at 26 years old and a graduate of Hilltopper University in 2023, was instrumental in helping his team become the LSC East Division Regular Season Co-Champion that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Dibiamaka recently faced a tough match with the Ringwood Hawks, who are currently ranked 15th with a 4-7 record. Despite his stellar performance, where he scored 19 points in 35 minutes, the Hawks were unable to secure a victory against the Sabres, who rank 11th in the South group. In a standout game against the Sandringham Sabres, Dibiamaka once again showcased his skills by scoring 19 points, securing 2 rebounds, and providing 1 assist. However, despite his impressive efforts, his team fell short and suffered a defeat. Throughout the season, Dibiamaka has consistently delivered strong performances, boasting impressive averages of 19.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Of note, Dibiamaka holds dual American and Nigerian citizenship, making him eligible to play in Nigeria as a domestic player, showcasing his versatility and potential to excel on different platforms.

#3. Australian Glenn Morison, a 6'10'' center aged 26, who graduated from St. Edward's in 2021 and currently plays professionally in Australia, was the standout player in the Canberra Gunners' recent triumph against the ninth-ranked Bruins with a scoreline of 96-92 in the Australian NBL One, the second division league, on Saturday night. Morison's impressive performance included scoring 16 points, securing 6 rebounds, and providing 6 assists in just 30 minutes of play. The Canberra Gunners, currently with a record of 8-0, hold the second position in the East group, having won all eight games in the Regular Season. Morison displayed exceptional skills in the game against Bankstown B, contributing significantly with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, leading his team to victory. His remarkable display on the court undoubtedly played a crucial role in the win, solidifying his reputation as a true champion. This season, Morison has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.3 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, and 3.4 assists per game, further demonstrating his value to the team as a key player and finalist.

#4. Australian Corey Shervill, a 6'7'' forward and 28-year-old Hilltopper alumnus from 2021, reached the final of the Australian NBL that year before embarking on his professional career in Australia. Recently, Shervill played a significant role in Lakeside Lightning's victory over the eighth-ranked Redbacks with a score of 99-93 in the Australian NBL One, the second division, on Friday night. Despite scoring only 3 points, he contributed 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 21 minutes of play. Currently, Lakeside Lightning holds the tenth position in the West group with a 3-7 record. This win marked a turning point for the team, breaking a streak of four consecutive losses. Notably, this is Shervill's debut season with the team, and his impact has been remarkable. In a standout performance against Perth R., Shervill showcased his skills by scoring 3 points, securing 7 rebounds, and distributing 4 assists, all crucial in securing the victory. His consistent contributions have been instrumental in guiding his team to success and cementing his status as a champion. Throughout the season, Shervill has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. His all-around performance on the court highlights his versatility and value to the team as they strive for further success in the tournament.
