Here is the weekly review of the top performing Sooners alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of Jamuni McNeace (15 points), Rivaldo Soares (15 points), and TaShawn Thomas (9 points).

#1. In a recent game, the skilled 6'10'' center, Jamuni McNeace, who graduated from Oklahoma in 2019 and now plays professionally in France, unfortunately could not lead Cholet Basket (19-11) to victory. Despite his commendable performance, Cholet suffered a 67-75 defeat on the road against the higher-ranked (#4) ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. McNeace showcased his talent by being the second-highest scorer for Cholet, putting up 15 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in just 26 minutes of play. His noteworthy display against ASVEL included contributing significantly to the team's efforts. However, despite his individual success, Cholet was unable to secure the win. Throughout the season, McNeace has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.5 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game in the 28 games he has participated in thus far.

#2. Rivaldo Soares, a towering 6'6'' guard and 26-year-old alummi of Sooners from 2024, currently showcasing his skills as a professional player in Poland, unfortunately couldn't lead Dziki Warszawa (18-12) to victory in their recent game. Despite Soares' commendable performance, Dziki suffered a significant 98-80 defeat against the formidable Legia in a highly anticipated derby match. Soares emerged as the second-best scorer for his team, delivering 15 crucial points while also securing 8 rebounds during his 33 minutes on the court. This remarkable display of talent is particularly noteworthy considering that Soares is only in his second season of professional basketball. The game marked a turning point for Dziki Warszawa, ending their impressive streak of five consecutive victories. Despite Soares' noteworthy contributions, including his 15 points and 8 rebounds against Legia, his team fell short in securing the win. Throughout the season, Soares has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game across the 35 games he has participated in thus far. His consistent performance and dedication on the court demonstrate his potential to become a champion in the future.

#3. Experienced champion TaShawn Thomas, a 6'8'' forward/center aged 33, who graduated from Oklahoma in 2015 and received the All-Big 12 Newcomer of the Year award that same year, currently plays professionally in France. In a recent match, Thomas, despite being the top scorer with 9 points and contributing 3 assists in 21 minutes, could not lead Le Mans Sarthe Basket (19-11) to victory against JSF Nanterre (21-9) in the French Betclic ELITE. The game ended with a disappointing 90-74 defeat for Le Mans Sarthe Basket at the hands of the higher-ranked (#3) JSF Nanterre. Impressively, Thomas showcased his skills on the court by scoring 9 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists against Nanterre. However, despite his individual performance, his team fell short of securing the win in the game. Throughout the season, Thomas has maintained an average of 9.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the 32 games he has participated in so far.

#4. Grant Sherfield, a 6'2'' guard and 26-year-old Sooners alumnus from 2023, currently plays professional basketball in Poland. In a recent game, he couldn't lead Trefl Sopot (19-11) to victory, as they suffered a 73-88 loss to the lower-ranked (#5) Dziki in Warszawa. Despite Sherfield's solid performance, scoring 15 points in 28 minutes, Trefl was unable to secure the win. This defeat marked Trefl Sopot's first loss after a streak of four consecutive victories. Sherfield, who received an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention award during his college career, has been showcasing his talent in his third season of professional basketball. Against Dziki, he demonstrated his skills by scoring 15 points, along with 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Despite his impressive individual performance, his team was unable to come out on top. Throughout this season, Sherfield has maintained good statistics, averaging 13.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in the 11 games he has played so far. As he continues to develop in his professional career, Sherfield remains a key player for Trefl Sopot aiming to lead them to success as they strive to become champions.

#5. Senegalese basketball champion Amath M'Baye, a 6'9'' power forward at 36 years old, graduated from Oklahoma in 2013 and received the All-Big 12 Third Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in France, M'Baye recently played a pivotal role in his team's dominant 95-64 victory over the eighth-ranked SIG Strasbourg in the French Betclic ELITE last Tuesday. In the game, the finalist M'Baye showcased his skills by contributing 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist in just 21 minutes of play. His performance was instrumental in securing the win for Paris Basketball, who currently holds the second position in the league standings. Throughout the season, M'Baye has been consistent, averaging 8.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in 27 appearances. It is noteworthy that he holds dual American and Senegalese citizenship, allowing him to play in Senegal as a domestic player. M'Baye's talent and contributions on the court continue to highlight him as a true champion in the world of basketball.

#6. Kristian Doolittle, a 6'7'' forward and 28-year-old former Sooners alumnus from the class of 2020, who currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico, recently showcased his talent in a game for Osos de Manati. Despite Doolittle's remarkable performance, where he achieved a double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in 36 minutes of play, Manati was narrowly defeated 87-85 by the Piratas in Quebradillas. This loss was a tough blow for the sixth-placed Manati, who were facing the lower-ranked Piratas in the Group B. Throughout the game, Doolittle displayed his skills by contributing significantly to his team's efforts. Despite his outstanding statistics for the season, averaging 20.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game in seven appearances, his individual performance could not secure a victory for his team in the recent challenging match against Quebradillas.

#7. Le'Tre Darthard, a 6'4'' guard who is 26 years old and graduated from Oklahoma in 2024, showcased his skills as a champion player by leading Szolnok to a victory against the sixth-ranked Szombathely with a score of 81-75 in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/A last Monday. In the game, he played for 27 minutes, scoring 11 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. His impressive performance on the court undoubtedly contributed to his team's success, highlighting his capabilities as a finalist player. Throughout the season, Darthard has maintained good statistics, averaging 13.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in 27 games. His consistent performance and contributions make him a valuable asset to his team, solidifying his position as a key player and demonstrating his potential as a champion in the league.

#8. Christian James, a 6'5'' point guard and 29-year-old alum of the Sooners from 2019, currently plays professionally in Slovakia. Despite his notable achievements, including receiving the USBWA All-District VI Team award, James could not lead Slovan (23-13) to victory in their recent game. In the match against the leading team, Levice, Slovan suffered a close 65-69 defeat at home. James showcased his skills by emerging as the top scorer with 18 points and contributing 7 rebounds in just 27 minutes of play. In the game against Levice, James displayed an outstanding performance, scoring 18 points, securing 7 rebounds, and providing 1 assist. Despite his impressive individual efforts, Slovan was unable to secure the win.    #10. In the recent game, Ethan Chargois, a 6'9'' forward and a 27-year-old Sooners alumni from 2022, who currently plays professionally in Lithuania, was unable to lead Gargzdu to a victory. Despite his commendable performance, Gargzdu suffered a heavy defeat of 100-73 against the higher-ranked (#3) Neptunas in Klaipeda. Chargois showcased his skills by scoring 11 points and securing 6 rebounds, displaying a flawless record of making all seven of his free throws, all within 23 minutes of play. His notable performance against Neptunas included contributing 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist, although his team fell short of clinching the win. Throughout this year, Chargois has maintained an average of 3.9 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per game across 11 games.
