Especially interesting is good performance of Moses Wood (10 points), Jaylen Nowell (18 points), and Nahziah Carter (26 points).

In the recent game, Moses Wood, a 6'8'' forward aged 27 who graduated from Washington in 2024 and currently plays professionally in Germany, unfortunately could not contribute enough to help ALBA Berlin (24-10) secure a win. Despite his commendable performance, ALBA Berlin ended up losing 82-91 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) Rasta Vechta. Wood managed to score 10 points and grab 1 rebound in the game, displaying his skills on the court. Nonetheless, his individual efforts were not enough to lead his team to victory on this occasion. Throughout the current season, Wood has been averaging 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in the 38 games he has participated in so far. #2. Jaylen Nowell, a 6'4'' guard who is 26 years old and an alumnus of the Huskies from 2019, has been making waves in the basketball scene. He currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico and recently led Gigantes de Carolina to a crucial victory against the fifth-ranked Leones with a score of 85-80 in a game of the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. In this game, Nowell showcased his exceptional skills by scoring 18 points and providing 7 assists in just 32 minutes of play. Gigantes de Carolina, currently holding the third position in Group B with a record of 12-9, has been benefiting greatly from Nowell's outstanding performances. His consistent high-level performance has undoubtedly played a key role in his team's success, positioning him as a standout champion in the league.
#3. Nahziah Carter, a 6'6'' guard who graduated from Washington in 2020 and now plays professionally in Venezuela, showcased his skills as a champion in a recent game. He led Gaiteros to a resounding 100-76 victory over the eighth-ranked Brillantes in the Venezuelan Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto. Carter's outstanding performance earned him the title of MVP of the game, scoring an impressive 26 points, securing 7 rebounds, and distributing 4 assists in just 33 minutes of play. Notably, he made all six of his free throws, demonstrating his prowess on the court. Gaiteros de Zulia currently holds the top spot in the league, with a record of 20-3, thanks in part to Carter's contributions in his first season with the team. His remarkable statistics throughout the season, averaging 18.6 points per game (ranking third in the league), along with 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.9 steals per game (ranking fourth in the league) over 29 games, further solidify his status as a true champion and finalist.

In a thrilling matchup in the New Zealand National Basketball League, the 29-year-old champion, Samuel Timmins, a former Huskies alumni from 2020, showcased his skills as a 6'11'' forward/center playing professionally in New Zealand. Timmins led the Southland Sharks to a resounding 104-90 victory over the closely-ranked Saints with an outstanding performance on Thursday night. During the game, Timmins demonstrated his prowess by scoring 14 points, securing 5 rebounds, distributing 5 assists, and blocking 2 shots in 34 minutes of play. This stellar display of talent was pivotal in securing the win for the Sharks in a highly anticipated showdown between two top 4 ranked teams. With this victory, the Southland Sharks (8-2) claimed the top spot in the league standings, marking their seventh consecutive triumph. Timmins' exceptional year continues, as he maintains impressive averages of 20.2 points per game, 11.0 rebounds per game (leading the league), 4.4 assists per game, and 2.0 blocks per game (also leading the league) over the course of 10 games. His consistent contributions on both ends of the court have solidified his position as a standout finalist in the league, with his latest performance further cementing his status as the ultimate champion of the game.
#5. Nate Roberts, a 6'11'' forward at 26 years old who graduated from Washington in 2022, showcased his prowess on the basketball court as he helped ZZ Leiden secure a 90-78 victory against Groningen in the Dutch Basketball League. In the highly anticipated game between two top 4 ranked teams, Roberts stood out by delivering a stellar performance. #6. Terrell Brown Jr., a 6'3'' guard and 28-year-old alumnus of the Huskies from 2022, who received the All-Pac First Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Israel. Recently, he played a crucial role in Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan's victory over the fifth-ranked Hapoel Holon with a score of 110-104 in the Israeli Winner League. In this matchup, he showcased his talent by contributing 10 points, 1 rebound, and 5 assists in just 22 minutes of play. Brown Jr.'s standout performance against Hapoel Holon highlighted his skills on the court, ultimately helping his team secure the win. In the recent game, Suggs, despite his commendable performance, was unable to assist Povoa (11-3) as they suffered a significant 90-72 defeat at the hands of CAB Madeira, who are ranked lower at #3 in the Places 1-8 group. Even though Suggs managed to emerge as the top scorer with 15 points during his 32 minutes on the court, Povoa was unable to secure the victory. Against CAB Madeira, Suggs showcased his skills by contributing 15 points and securing 3 rebounds, demonstrating his individual prowess despite the team's loss. Throughout the season, Suggs has been delivering a strong performance, averaging 19.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game across 31 appearances. His consistent contributions have highlighted his valuable presence on the court for Povoa.
#9. It is worth noting that despite being a naturalized American, Dime continues to excel on the basketball court, proving himself as a formidable finalist in the Venezuelan league.
#10. Tyree Ihenacho, a 24-year-old guard standing at 6'4'' and an alum of the Huskies from 2025, showcased his skills as a professional player in Paraguay. In a recent game for the Olimpia Kings against Atletico Ciudad Nueva, one of the league's weaker teams, he played a key role in their dominant 88-53 victory in a derby match in the Paraguayan LNB on Monday night. Ihenacho's impressive statistics of 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in just 24 minutes highlighted his significant contribution to the team's success. His stellar performance against Ciudad Nueva firmly established him as a champion on the court, leading his team to a decisive win. Throughout this season, Ihenacho has maintained solid averages of 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game across 12 appearances, further solidifying his reputation as a top player in the league.
