#1. Travante Williams (6'4''-SF-1993, played in 2015-16, plays pro in Romania) led Oradea to a surprising victory over the third-ranked Valcea (22-8) crushing them 90-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Williams scored 23 points in 21 minutes. CSM CSU Oradeais placed 12th in the Liga Nationala. It's Williams' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.1apg and 1.5spg in 29 games he played so far. Williams is a naturalized Portuguese.
#2. Experienced Eric Fongue (6'7''-SF-1991, played in 2014-15, plays in Norway). Fongue could not help Fyllingen (26-4) to beat Kongsberg (21-9) in the Norwegian BLNO. He recorded 6 points. The league leader Fyllingen was defeated 74-67 on the road by the lower-ranked Kongsberg (#3). This season Fongue averages 8.8ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.2apg. He has also Swiss nationality.
#3. Jaycson BeReal (6'7''-SF, played in 2022-24, currently in Portugal) was the major contributor in Galitos-Aveiro's victory against the fourth-ranked Sampaense (10-17) 81-77 in the Portuguese Proliga (second division) in Friday night's game. BeReal recorded 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 36 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Clube dos Galitos Aveiro (5-21) is placed eighth in Places 9-16 group. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. BeReal has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.6apg in 19 games.
#4. Roberto Gittens (6'5''-SG-1999, played in 2020-21, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to help the Vancouver Volcanoes in their game against the Salem Capitals (7-9) in the TBL. Gittens' contribution was not very remarkable in Friday's game. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The Vancouver Volcanoes (#4) were badly defeated103-83 in Salem by the Capitals. It was Volcanoes' seventh consecutive loss in a row. This season Gittens averages 7.8ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.6apg.
