#1. Experienced Kristen Mann (6'1''-F-83, graduated '05, plays pro in France) could not help the league outsider Mondeville (0-9) in their last game. Despite her very good performance the bottom-ranked Mondeville was edged 75-72 at home by the much higher-ranked (#4) Roche. Mann was the second best scorer with 19 points. She also added 5 rebounds, passed 8 assists and added 2 blocks in 40 minutes. So far Mondeville lost all nine games in the Regular Season. Mann has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages 16.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.5spg in eight games she played so far.
#2. Jacqueline Luna-Castro (6'2''-F-93, played in 2011-13, plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Proteas (3-4) 80-64 in the Greek A1 last Sunday. She recorded 8 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. GS Esperides Kalliotheas (5-2) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Luna-Castro averages 9.8ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. She is a naturalized Mexican.
#3. Drew Edelman (6'4''-F, graduated '18, currently in Israel) led Ramat Hasharon to a victory against the league outsider B.Yehuda (0-8) 91-79 in the Israeli D1 on Friday night. She scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Edelman's first season in pro basketball. A.S. Ramat Hasharon (5-2) is placed fourth in the D1. Edelman has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.1bpg in nine games.
