Experienced champion David Kravish, a 6'10'' center aged 33, who graduated from California in 2015 and currently plays professionally in Spain, played a crucial role in his team's resounding 101-83 victory over the closely-ranked Breogan Lugo (15-18) in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Saturday. In just 17 minutes of play, he showcased his skills by scoring 7 points, securing 9 rebounds, and distributing 5 assists. Unicaja Malaga (17-16) currently holds the ninth position in the league standings as the Regular Season nears its conclusion with only two games remaining. With each game becoming increasingly significant, Kravish's consistent performance will be vital for his team's success. Having been with the team for four seasons, Kravish proved his worth as a finalist with his standout performance against Rio Breogan. His impressive statistics of 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists underscored his value as a key contributor to his team's victory, further solidifying his reputation as a dedicated champion. Throughout this season, Kravish has maintained an average of 5.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in the 10 games he has played so far. Despite being a naturalized American, his dedication, skills, and commitment to the game have made him an integral part of the team's success.
#2. Mali Mady Sissoko, a 25-year-old former Golden Bears alumni from 2025 standing at 6'9'' and playing as a center, has been making waves in the Italian Serie A league. Recently, he led Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste to a thrilling 83-77 victory over the second-ranked team, Brescia, with an impressive performance last Saturday. In the game, Sissoko showcased his skills as a champion by scoring 15 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in just 24 minutes of play. This remarkable display is even more astonishing considering it is only his first season in professional basketball. His contribution was instrumental in securing the victory for Trieste, highlighting his potential as a future finalist. Despite being in his debut season with the team, Sissoko has been delivering consistently good performances. #4. South Sudanese player Kuany Kuany, standing tall at 6'11'' and 26 years old, is making a name for himself as a basketball player. A Rams alumnus from 2024, Kuany honed his skills playing in California between 2019 and 2023 before turning pro in Morocco. In a thrilling match last Sunday in the Basketball Africa League, Kuany played a crucial role in FUS Rabat's narrow 99-98 victory over league leaders Tigers with a margin of just one point. Displaying his versatility on the court, Kuany achieved a double-double by scoring 22 points, securing 10 rebounds, and contributing 3 assists in 33 minutes of play. This impressive performance is even more remarkable considering that Kuany is only in his second season of professional basketball. The game between FUS Rabat and the Tigers, both top 4 ranked teams, was highly anticipated and lived up to expectations. Fath US de Rabat, currently fourth in the league with a record of 3-2, owes much of its success to Kuany's stellar performance against the Tigers. With an average of 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game in seven matches this year, Kuany is proving to be a valuable asset to his team. Additionally, it is noteworthy that Kuany holds Australian citizenship, adding to his international background and experience. Kuany's impactful contributions on the court are undeniably instrumental in leading his team to victory as the champion of the game, showcasing his potential to become a standout player in the basketball world.
#5. Jaylon Tyson, a 6'7'' guard who recently graduated from California in 2024 and received the All-Pac First Team award, is currently showcasing his skills in the NBA. Despite his best efforts, the Cleveland Cavaliers (52-30) could not secure a victory against the New York Knicks (54-29) in a recent game. Tyson, in his first season with the team, contributed 4 points and 3 rebounds in 11 minutes of play. Despite his individual success, the Cavaliers suffered a significant 109-93 defeat on the road. #7. Jalen Cone, a 5'11'' point guard who graduated from California in 2024 and currently plays professionally in Spain, recently faced Coruna with his team, Menorca. #9. Keonte Kennedy, a 6'5'' guard who is 25 years old and a graduate of California in 2024, showcased his exceptional skills as a professional player in Canada. In a thrilling match last Sunday, Kennedy played a pivotal role in the Niagara River Lions' narrow 101-99 victory over the Stingers in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. During the game, Kennedy displayed his talent by scoring 19 points, securing 7 rebounds, and playing for 30 minutes on the court. In another impressive performance against Edmonton, Kennedy once again stood out by contributing 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist to help his team secure a crucial win. Throughout this season, Kennedy has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game, and 2.3 steals per game across four games.
