We bring you last week's top former Black Bears players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Quion Burns (6'6''-G-2002, played in 2023-25, plays pro in Estonia) was the major contributor in a Keila KK's victory against the ninth-ranked Keila Coolbet (2-5) 96-90 in a derby game in the Lat-Est BL in Tuesday night's game. He scored 22 points, had 9 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 2 shots in 37 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Burns' first season in pro basketball. Keila Korvpallikool (1-6) is placed second from the bottom (#13) in the Lat-Est BL. It was Keila KK's first victory after six consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Burns' first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Burns averages 20.9ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.0apg, 1.4bpg and 2.0spg in seven games he played so far.

#2. Peter Stumer (6'6''-SG-1999, played in 2019-20, plays in Sweden) led Uppsala to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Koping Stars (2-8) 86-74 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. Stumer was MVP of the game. He recorded 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. KFUM Uppsala (9-0) is placed first in the Basketligan. So far his team won all nine games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Stumer has relatively good stats this year 15.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 3.6apg.

#3. Sergio El Darwich (6'5''-G-1996, played in 2018-20, currently in Japan) contributed to a Sendai 89ers' victory against the eighth-ranked SunRockers (5-8) 84-75 in the Japanese B1 League on Saturday night. He scored 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 31 minutes. Sendai 89ers (7-6) are placed sixth in East group. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. El Darwich has relatively good stats this year 12.2ppg, 5.1rpg, 5.1apg and 1.8spg in 13 games.

#4. Peter Filipovity (6'7''-F-2001, played in 2021-24, plays pro in Hungary) helped Kaposvari win their game against the closely-ranked OSE Lions (2-5) 86-79 in the Hungarian A Division in Saturday night's game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only Filipovity's first season in pro basketball. Kometa Kaposvari KK (4-4) is placed eighth in the A Division. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Filipovity's first year with the team. This season he has very high stats. Filipovity averages 17.5ppg and 5.3rpg.

#5. Till Gloger (6'9''-C-1993, played in 2012-16, plays in Germany) managed to help Giessen 46ers in a 2-point victory against the sixth-ranked SparkassenStars (4-3) 76-74 in the German ProA (second division) last Saturday. He scored only 4 points in 12 minutes. Giessen 46ers (3-4) is placed tenth in the ProA. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Gloger's first year with the team. This season Gloger averages 6.7ppg and 2.8rpg in six games.

#6. Christopher Mantis (6'7''-F-2002, played in 2024-25, currently in the NBA G League), who plays in the NBA G League could not help the Capital City Go-Go to beat the Long Island Nets. He recorded 7 points. It was his first game for Capital City Go-Go this season. His team was defeated 109-102 in the NBA G League.
