Mar'Shay Moore, a 5'8'' guard who graduated from Oregon in 2017 and currently plays professionally in Hungary, showcased her talent as a major contributor in BEAC's recent victory over the sixth-ranked Csata DSE. In this intense derby game within the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/A league, Moore's performance was exceptional, with 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist in 32 minutes of play. E.ON ELTE BEAC Budapest, currently placed seventh in the Places 1-8 group, benefited greatly from Moore's skills on the court, especially considering it is her first season with the team. Her standout display against Csata DSE not only helped secure the victory with a score of 59-56 but also propelled her team to emerge as the finalist of the game. Throughout the season, Moore has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game across the 29 games she has played so far. Her consistent performance and valuable contributions have undoubtedly positioned her as a key player for BEAC as they strive towards further success in the league.
#2. Kennedi Williams, a former Ducks alumna from 2024 currently playing professionally in Mexico, was unable to guide the Santas to victory in their latest game. Despite her strong performance, the Santas ultimately fell short, losing 74-80 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) El Calor team. In the match, Williams showcased her skills by contributing 11 points and 3 assists in just 25 minutes of play. It was a valiant effort from the talented guard, but unfortunately, it was not enough to secure the win for her team. This defeat marked the first loss for the Santas after a successful streak of three consecutive victories. Despite the outcome, Williams displayed an impressive performance against El Calor, tallying 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Her all-around contributions on the court were noteworthy, showcasing her versatility and skills. Throughout the current season, Williams has been a key player for the Santas, averaging 7.0 points per game, along with 1.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.4 steals per game, which ranks her as the second-best in the league in steals. Her consistent performance highlights her importance to the team and her ability to make an impact on both ends of the court.
#3. Australian Shannon Dufficy, a 28-year-old forward standing at 6'2'' who graduated from Oregon in 2022 and currently plays professionally in Australia, played a key role in the Diamond Valley Eagles' recent triumph over the 19th-ranked Hawks with a score of 99-85 in the Australian NBL One North league, which is the second division in the country. In the game last Saturday, Dufficy contributed 9 points during her 19 minutes on the court. The Diamond Valley Eagles, currently holding a 7-2 record, are positioned third in the South group standings. Dufficy's performance was crucial in securing her team's third consecutive victory. She showcased her skills against the Ringwood Hawks by scoring 9 points, collecting 2 rebounds, and distributing 2 assists. Her all-around contributions were pivotal in guiding her team to success and ultimately emerging as the finalist. Throughout this season, Dufficy has maintained solid averages of 8.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game across nine appearances. Nani Falatea, a standout guard standing at 5'9'' and a Ducks alumna from 2025, showcased her talent by leading the Woodville Warriors to a resounding 84-64 victory over the seventh-ranked Tigers in the Australian NBL One North, the second division league, this past Saturday. In this game, she was named the MVP, demonstrating her prowess on the court. Falatea's stellar performance included scoring 21 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists in 33 minutes of play. This remarkable display of skill is particularly impressive as she is only in her first professional basketball season. Woodville Warriors, currently holding a 6-3 record, are positioned third in the Central group, thanks in part to Falatea's contributions. The victory over the Tigers marked her team's fourth consecutive win, showcasing their strong momentum in the league. In another standout performance against Southern T., Falatea once again shone with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Her exceptional play was pivotal in securing the victory, earning her the title of champion of the game. Individually, Falatea has been having an outstanding year, boasting impressive statistics across the board. She currently averages 19.0 points per game, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.0 steals in eight games, solidifying her status as a finalist to watch in the league.
#5. Australian basketball player Morgan Yaeger, a 28-year-old guard standing at 5'9'' who graduated from Oregon in 2020 after helping them clinch the Pac Regular Season Championship that year, is currently showcasing her talents as a professional player in Australia. In a recent game for the West Adelaide Bearcats in the Australian NBL One North (the second division), Yaeger played a pivotal role in their dominant 93-66 victory over the second-ranked Sabres with an impressive stat line of 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in just 28 minutes of play. The matchup between the Bearcats and the Sabres was highly anticipated, as both teams were among the top 3 ranked teams in the Central group. With this crucial win, the West Adelaide Bearcats (9-0) solidified their position at the top of the standings, having won all nine games in the Regular Season thus far. Yaeger's exceptional performance against the Sabres, where she showcased her scoring, rebounding, and playmaking abilities, was instrumental in her team's success and eventual championship of the game. #6. Australian basketball champion, Ahlise Hurst, a 5'9'' guard and 26-year-old Ducks alumna from 2023, currently playing professionally in Australia, unfortunately could not lead the Bendigo Lady Braves (3-5) to victory in their recent game. Despite Hurst's outstanding performance, the 14th-placed Bendigo LB suffered a 78-89 loss to the much higher-ranked (#5) Ballarat Miners in the South group, played at Wendouree. In the game, Hurst showcased her skills by scoring 16 points in 32 minutes of play. She had a standout performance against the tough opponent, Ballarat Miners, contributing 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. However, despite her impressive individual efforts, Bendigo Lady Braves fell short of securing a win in the matchup. Throughout the season, Hurst has been excelling individually with impressive statistics, averaging 16.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the seven games played so far. Her consistent performance highlights her as a key player for the team, even in challenging matchups against higher-ranked opponents like the Ballarat Miners.
