We bring you last week's top former Cougars players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Estonian basketball player Johanna Teder, who stands at 5'8'' and is 26 years old, earned her degree from Colorado in 2025. However, she honed her skills at WSU from 2020 to 2024 before embarking on her professional career in Italy. Teder recently showcased her talent by leading Limonta Sport Costa Masnaga to a resounding victory over the fourth-ranked Valdarno with a scoreline of 95-72 in the Italian Serie A2 league, which is the second division of Italian basketball. In the game, Teder displayed her versatility by achieving a double-double, scoring 13 points and dishing out 14 assists in just 25 minutes of play. Despite it being her debut season with the team, Teder's impactful performance was instrumental in securing the win for her team, ultimately crowning her as the champion of the game. Limonta Sport Costa Masnaga currently holds the second position in Group A with a record of 19 wins and 5 losses. Teder's statistical performance throughout the season has been commendable, averaging 11.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists (ranking her third best in the league), and 1.6 steals per game. Her consistent contributions on the court have solidified her reputation as a standout player and a finalist in the Italian Serie A2 league.

#2. Australian Emma Nankervis, a standout champion at the collegiate level with the Cougars in 2023, continues to make her mark in professional basketball in her home country. Despite her impressive credentials, she faced a tough challenge recently when her team, the Frankston Blues, fell short against the Tigers in the Australian NBL One North league, where she currently plays. In the match against the Tigers, Nankervis, a towering 6'3'' center, had a relatively quiet game by her standards. She contributed 2 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in 19 minutes of play. Unfortunately, her efforts were not enough to lead the Frankston Blues to victory, as they suffered a defeat on the road, further impacting their standing in the league. Although Nankervis showcased her skills in other games, such as against Melbourne T., where she displayed her scoring ability, rebounding prowess, and playmaking skills, her individual performance has not always translated into team success. Despite her solid contributions, the Frankston Blues have faced challenges securing wins this season. Currently, Nankervis maintains an average of 2.8 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. As she continues to compete at the professional level, she remains determined to elevate her game and help her team achieve success, aiming to overcome obstacles and showcase her capabilities as a talented champion in the sport.
