Emmett Adair, 18-year old Australian forward was honored as the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 18 Asia Cup. He plays for the BA Centre of Excellence. Adair received multiple other awards, earned the Best Forward and was named to the First Team. He averaged over 13 points and almost 8 rebounds per game during the event. Adair recorded double-doubles in 2 games during the event. His 23 points against Japan were the most he scored at the tournament.
Tamatoa Isaac, 17-year old New Zealander guard picked up the Best Guard of FIBA Under 18 Asia Cup. He plays for the Canterbury Rams. Isaac also earned a spot in the First Team. With finesse and precision, Isaac claimed the third position in points per game, delivering a stellar over 17 points per game average. He also registered almost 7 rebounds per game at the event. Isaac's 24 points against Iran were the most he scored at the tournament.
Saif Saleh, 18-year old center was named the Best Center at the FIBA Under 18 Asia Cup. He was also voted to the First Team. Saleh's court vision propelled him to the third spot in rebounds per game an outstanding average of almost 11. He also had almost 17 points per game at the event. Saleh recorded double-doubles in 5 games during the event. His 35 points against Qatar were the most he scored at the tournament.
Jacob Furphy, 18-year old Australian shooting guard was selected to the First Team of FIBA Under 18 Asia Cup. He plays for the BA Centre of Excellence. Furphy averaged almost 17 points and over 4 rebounds per game at the event. He has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points during the event. Furphy's 28 points against Lebanon were the most he scored at the tournament. Despite his young age he had an impressive career. He was selected to the Australiabasket All-Australian Under 18 Championship First Team in 2022. Furphy was also selected to the Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asian Under 16 Championship Second Team in 2022.
Boyuan Zhang, 17-year old forward was chosen to the First Team at the FIBA Under 18 Asia Cup. His playmaking prowess was on full display as he secured the fourth position in points per game averaging over 17. Zhang has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points during the event. His 32 points against Guinea were the most he scored at the tournament. Despite his young age he had an impressive career. He was selected to the Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asian Under 16 Championship First Team in 2023.
