Bhutan Five Nations Basketball Champion

Bhutan won the Five Nations Championship basketball title. Bhutan finished fourth in the league round and became the champion after defeating Bangladesh 62-60 on Thursday. Before that, Bhutan reached the final by defeating Nepal 61-60 after hitting a buzzer beater in the last second in the semi-final. In the other semi-final, Bangladesh reached the last two after defeating Pakistan 79-65. Bhutan defeated Nepal in both the league stage and semi-finals. Nepal defeated other teams Bangladesh, Pakistan, and hosts Maldives in the league stage. Pakistan, who were top and second in the league stage, failed to reach the finals. Bangladesh, ranked third in the points table, and Bhutan, ranked fourth, played in the finals. In the end, Bhutan returned as champions.
