Philippines clinched the title in Manila and therefore qualified for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup. They rolled past Indonesia in the decisive game on the last day of the tournament. Andray Blatche (211-F/C-86) delivered 21 points and 10 rebounds to pace the winners. Philippines used a 34:14 run in the first quarter to clear off for good. Jayson Castro William (180-PG-86) accounted for 14 points, 7 boards and 5 assists for the champions. Arki Wisnu (187-SF-88) responded with 11 points for Indonesia as they finished second.
Vietnam - Singapore 60-70
Singapore outscored Vietnam to improved at 2-4 record in Manila. Kok Chiang Goh (199-C-95) stepped up with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Vietnam recorded a 29:26 halftime lead. They entered the fourth term up by three points. But Singapore used a 26:13 run in the fourth term though to snatch the victory. Wei Meng Kwek (188-G/F-96) delivered 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Han Minh Trieu (178-PG-87) replied with 17 points for Vietnam.
Malaysia - Myanmar 96-71
Malaysia rallied past Myanmar to finish their campaign on a high note. Chee Huei Liaw (187-F-93) provided 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Malaysia recorded a 45:32 halftime lead. They unloaded 51 points in the second half to ice the victory. Zhi Shin Chin (190-F-87) accounted for 22 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Aung Wana (180-F-95) responded with 31 points for Myanmar.
