Taichung Suns land Marlon Johnson, ex Edmonton

Taichung-Suns (T1 League) landed 28-year old American 208cm power forward Marlon Johnson (college: NMHU). Johnson played this summer at Edmonton Stingers in Canadian CEBL. In 15 games just recently he averaged 10.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2spg. The last season he played at New Taipei CTBC DEA in Taiwanese T1 League where in 33 games he had very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 11.4rpg, 3.2apg and 2.1spg. He was also voted League Player of the Week.
Johnson is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. Johnson has played previously professionally in Finland (Pyrinto), Portugal (Imortal), Spain (Caceres and Prat), Dominican Republic (San Carlos), Libya (Ahly Tripoli) and The Basketball Tournament (Brotherly Love). He won CEBL championship title in 2019 and 2021.
Johnson graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2017 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
