Every week we bring you a list of the top former Gaels players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Look at great performance of Rickey McGill (19 points), Tajuan Agee (4 points), and Isaiah Williams (9 points).

#1. Rickey McGill, a 6'2'' guard who graduated from Iona in 2019, showcased his basketball prowess once again while playing professionally in Slovakia. In a recent game, he led Patrioti Levice to a hard-fought 69-65 victory over the closely-ranked Slovan. McGill's stellar performance earned him the title of MVP for the game, as he contributed 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in 39 minutes of play. This matchup was significant as it featured two top 4 ranked teams battling it out on the court. Patrioti Levice, currently holding the top spot in the league with a record of 30-6, relied on McGill's exceptional skills to secure the win over their opponents. McGill's all-around contribution, including his scoring, rebounding, and playmaking abilities, proved crucial in guiding his team to victory and ultimately claiming the champion title in the game. Throughout the season, McGill has consistently delivered outstanding performances, leading the league in scoring with an average of 23.3 points per game and topping the steals category with 2.5 steals per game. Additionally, his impressive stat line includes 3.9 rebounds per game and 5.8 assists per game, making him one of the standout players in the league. McGill's exceptional season highlights his talent and dedication to excelling on the basketball court as he continues to make a name for himself as a top-tier player in Slovakia.

#2. Tajuan Agee, a 6'9'' power forward and 28-year-old Gaels alumni from the class of 2020, currently plays professionally in France. Despite his best efforts, he could not lead JL Bourg en Bresse (18-12) to victory over Monaco (23-7) in the French Betclic ELITE league. In the game, Agee managed to score 4 points, secure 5 rebounds, and dish out 1 assist in just 12 minutes of play. Unfortunately, JL Bourg en Bresse suffered a 114-103 defeat at the hands of the league-leading Monaco, marking their fourth consecutive loss. Although Agee showcased a solid performance against Monaco, contributing significantly with 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist, his team ultimately fell short in securing the win. Throughout this season, Agee has maintained averages of 5.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. It is worth noting that Agee is a naturalized Filipino player, bringing a diverse background and skill set to the court.

#3. Experienced champion Isaiah Williams, a 6'7'' guard/forward aged 34, who graduated from Iona in 2016 after helping them secure the MAAC Tournament title that year, currently plays professionally in Switzerland. In a recent game, he was unable to lead Geneve (19-5) to victory against the formidable Fribourg (23-1) in the Swiss Basketball League, with Geneve suffering a heavy 86-66 defeat at home. Despite the loss, Williams showcased his skills by contributing 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 40 minutes of play against the dominant Fribourg team. His individual performance was commendable, but unfortunately, it was not enough to secure a win for Geneve. Throughout the season, Williams has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, highlighting his consistent contributions to the team.

#4. Dutch player Dylan Van Eyck, a towering 6'8'' forward aged 28 and an alum of the Gaels since 2022, currently competes professionally in France. Recently, he played a crucial role in leading his team, Hermine Nantes Atlantique, to a noteworthy victory against the closely-ranked ADA Blois with a final score of 83-73 in the French ELITE 2 league, the second division of French basketball, on Sunday night. In an impressive display of skill and determination, Van Eyck contributed significantly to his team's success by recording 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals within 28 minutes of play. This victory marked the fourth consecutive win for his team, positioning them at seventh place in the league standings. Notably, this season marks Van Eyck's first with the Hermine Nantes Atlantique team. His notable performance against Blois not only highlights his exceptional abilities but also underscores his capabilities as a finalist. Van Eyck's overall performance this season has been commendable, with solid statistics averaging 11.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, 2.8 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game. His consistent contributions on the court truly reflect his status as a champion in the making.

#5. Jamaican player Ra'shad James, standing at 6'1'' and a guard, is a 36-year-old professional basketball player who graduated from Iona College in 2012. Notably, he was instrumental in helping Iona win the MAAC Regular Season Champion title in the same year. Currently playing professionally in Mexico, James showcased his talent as a finalist by contributing significantly to Toros Laguna's recent victory over the closely-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon with a score of 90-87 in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico on Saturday night. Despite playing only 10 minutes, James managed to score 5 crucial points, demonstrating his skill and experience on the court. Toros Laguna, currently ranked sixth in the league with an 18-22 record, greatly benefited from James' performance, where he not only scored but also grabbed 1 rebound and provided 2 assists during the game against Obregon. His impressive season averages of 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game reflect his consistency and contribution to the team's success. It is worth mentioning that James, a naturalized American, continues to showcase his abilities as a champion and a valuable asset to his team.

#6. Australian Joshua Duach, a 6'6'' forward/guard aged 23 and a proud Gaels alumnus from 2022, played a crucial role in leading his team to victory as the MAAC Regular Season Champion that year. Competing professionally in Australia, he recently stood out as a standout player in a thrilling Australian NBL One (second division) match, where he helped the Goldfields Giants secure a narrow 79-76 win over the sixth-ranked Suns. In this exciting game, Duach displayed his skills by achieving a double-double, contributing 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while also providing 5 assists during the intense 40-minute match. His remarkable performance against Kalamunda ES, where he scored 17 points, secured 11 rebounds, and delivered 5 assists, played a significant role in his team's triumph. As a result of his outstanding efforts, he was honored with the prestigious Triple-Double Badge by eurobasket.com, cementing his reputation as a champion player. Throughout the season, Duach has consistently showcased his talent, maintaining impressive individual statistics with an average of 27.0 points per game, 10.0 rebounds per game, and 3.7 assists per game. His stellar contributions on the court have undoubtedly solidified his position as a finalist player in the league.
