#1. Experienced champion Raven Barber, a 6'9'' forward/center who is 34 years old and graduated from Mt. St. Mary's in 2013, has been showcasing his skills playing professionally in Mexico. In a recent game last Friday, Barber, who was a key player in leading his alma mater to the final of the NEC Tournament in 2013, unfortunately couldn't help his team, Toros Laguna (18-22), secure a victory. Despite his commendable performance, Toros Laguna was narrowly defeated 90-88 on the road by the higher-ranked team, Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (#3). Barber contributed significantly to the game, scoring 11 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in the 30 minutes he played. His solid performance against Obregon demonstrated his capabilities on the court, yet his team fell short in securing the win. Throughout this season, Barber has been maintaining an average of 7.8 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game, showcasing his consistency and valuable contributions to his team.
