Here is the weekly review of the top performing Retrievers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Jarvis Doles, a 28-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' who graduated from UMBC in 2023 and currently plays professionally in Australia, made a significant impact in a recent game for the Bendigo Braves. He played a key role in the team's victory against the 14th-ranked Falcons with a score of 91-84 in the Australian NBL One, which is the second division of basketball in Australia. In this game, Doles showcased his skills by scoring 8 points, pulling down 8 rebounds, and playing for 34 minutes. The Bendigo Braves, currently positioned 12th in the South group, secured their first win after enduring four consecutive losses, thanks in part to Doles' stellar performance. In another notable game against Waverley F, Doles once again proved his value by contributing 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist to help his team emerge victorious. His impressive statistics played a crucial role in guiding his team to triumph as the champion. Throughout the season, Doles has been having an exceptional year with remarkable averages of 18.8 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game in the 13 games he has played so far.    #2. Puerto Rican Kevin Maura, a 30-year-old point guard standing at 5'8" and an alum of Retrievers from 2018, currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico. Despite his best efforts, Maura, known for his All-AEC Defensive Player of the Year award in 2018, could not lead his team, Mets de Guaynabo (12-12), to victory over the Leones (9-16) in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. In a recent game, the fourth-placed Mets de Guaynabo suffered a tough 101-78 loss on the road to the fifth-ranked Leones in Group B, with Maura contributing 5 points in 23 minutes of play. In another game against Ponce, Maura showcased his skills on the court by scoring 5 points, grabbing 1 rebound, and dishing out 2 assists. Despite his solid performance, his team was unable to secure the win. Throughout this season, Maura has been averaging 1.5 points per game across 21 games, demonstrating his consistent presence on the court as he strives to help his team succeed in the league.

#3. Bryce Johnson, a 6'4''-G who is 24 years old and graduated from UMBC in 2025, is currently playing professionally in Australia.
