We bring you last week's top former Lobos players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Nigerian basketball player Nelly Joseph, a 24-year-old center standing at 6'10'', made his mark in college basketball when he graduated from New Mexico in 2025 after helping them secure the MWC Regular Season Champion title. Currently playing professionally in France, Joseph suits up for SIG Strasbourg. In a recent match against Paris Basket, the team fell short, with Joseph scoring 7 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and blocking 3 shots in 25 minutes of play. Despite his solid performance, SIG Strasbourg suffered a 75-89 defeat on the road, marking their third consecutive loss. Throughout the season, Joseph has been a standout player, averaging 12.4 points per game, 8.4 rebounds per game (leading the league in this category), and 1.3 assists per game in the 34 games he has participated in so far. His consistent contributions on the court have been noteworthy, showcasing his talent and skill as a champion player.

#2. Jemarl Baker Jr., a 6'5'' guard and 27-year-old Lobos alumnus from the class of 2024, made a significant impact in the recent game where he led Eisbaeren Bremerhaven to a notable victory over the league leader Phoenix Hagen with a score of 85-75 in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA. This impressive win comes as Baker Jr. continues to shine in his second season of professional basketball in Germany after assisting his alma mater to win the MWC Tournament in 2024. In the game, Baker Jr. showcased his skills and talent by recording 15 points and delivering 4 assists in just 24 minutes of play. His exceptional performance earned him the title of MVP of the game, highlighting his capabilities as a champion player. This match was highly anticipated as it featured two top 4 ranked teams battling it out, with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven currently holding the fourth position in the league with a record of 23-11. Despite this being his first year with the team, Baker Jr. has been making a significant impact, averaging 13.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in the 35 games he has played so far this season. His consistent contributions on the court have been instrumental in his team's success and further solidify his position as a standout finalist in the league.

#3. Jaelen House, a 6'0'' point guard who graduated from N. Mexico in 2024 and received the All-MWC All-Tournament MVP award that year, currently plays professionally in Canada. In the recent game where the Vancouver Bandits (5-2) faced the Blackjacks in Ottawa, House put on a remarkable performance. Despite his impressive double-double of 24 points and 12 assists, along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals in 35 minutes of play, the Vancouver Bandits ultimately suffered a 105-114 loss. This defeat marked the team's first loss after a streak of four consecutive victories. Nevertheless, given that it is still early in the season, there is ample opportunity for the team to bounce back. House's standout performance against Ottawa showcased his skills and contribution to the team, despite the final outcome. In his second season of professional basketball, House has been excelling individually with notable statistics. He boasts an average of 25.9 points per game, ranking him third in the league, along with 3.3 rebounds, 11.0 assists (leading the league), and 2.3 steals per game (fourth best in the league) over the course of seven games. His consistent high-level play demonstrates his potential as a champion player in the making.

#4. Antino Jackson, a 6'0'' point guard and former Lobos alumni from 2018, now playing professionally in Rwanda, showcased his skills in a recent Basketball Africa League game. His team, the Tigers, emerged victorious against the closely-ranked Al Ahly Cairo with a score of 106-97. Jackson's stellar performance included 13 points and 7 assists in just 25 minutes of play. This game, a clash between two top 4 ranked teams, was a highlight of the round. The Tigers BB Kigali, leading the league with a 4-1 record, secured their fourth consecutive win with this impressive victory. Jackson's standout performance against Al Ahly, where he contributed 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists, was crucial in securing the win, making him the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Jackson has maintained solid statistics with an average of 11.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game in nine appearances. Notably, he holds both American and Rwandan citizenship, allowing him to play in Rwanda as a domestic player, further enhancing his impact on the league.
