We bring you last week's top former Rams players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Daron Russell (28 points), Ishmael El-Amin (29 points), and Jaden House (18 points).

#1. Daron Russell, a 5'11'' point guard who is 28 years old, graduated from Maryland in 2022 after playing for the University of Rhode Island between 2017 and 2021. He currently plays professionally in Romania. In a recent game, despite Russell's remarkable performance, he was unable to lead Cluj Napoca to victory. The team, which holds the top spot, was narrowly defeated 87-84 on the road by the leading Oradea in the Joins LN second stage group match. Russell demonstrated his skills by scoring 28 points, securing 4 rebounds, and providing 3 assists while making all of his six free throws in 30 minutes of gameplay. Despite his outstanding contribution, Cluj Napoca fell short against Oradea. Throughout the season, Russell has been excelling individually with impressive statistics. He has been averaging 17.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game in the eight games he has participated in so far.

#2. Ishmael El-Amin, a 27-year-old guard standing at 6'3'' and an alum of Rams from 2022, showcased his talent as he led Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elyon to a thrilling 113-108 victory over the closely-ranked Kiryat Ata in the Israeli Winner League during Tuesday night's game. El-Amin, playing professionally in Israel, was named the MVP of the game for his exceptional performance. In an intense 49-minute game, he scored an impressive 29 points, secured 4 rebounds, and delivered 8 assists. This game marked his debut for Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elyon this season, making a significant impact in his first appearance for the team. Despite his team being ranked second from the bottom (#13) in the league standings, El-Amin's stellar display on the court demonstrated his prowess as a true champion, guiding his team to a well-deserved victory over Kiryat Ata.

#3. Jaden House, a 6'4'' guard who is 24 years old and graduated from URI in 2025, is currently playing professionally in Mexico for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon. In their recent game against the Toros, despite House's notable performance, Obregon suffered a crushing 106-84 defeat in Nuevo Laredo. House, the team's second-best scorer, contributed 18 points and 3 assists in 29 minutes of play. This performance is particularly impressive considering it is his first season in professional basketball. Throughout the season, House has consistently displayed strong individual statistics, averaging 15.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in the 43 games he has played so far. Despite his personal success, Obregon has faced challenges as a team, as evidenced by their recent loss to the Toros. House's talent and contributions on the court are noteworthy, and he continues to make a significant impact in his debut season as a professional player.

#4. Guyanese Cyril Langevine, a 6'8'' center aged 27 and an alum of Rams from 2020, currently plays professionally in Israel. In a recent Israeli Winner League game, he teamed up with the aforementioned Ishmael El-Amin, and together they contributed to their team's success. Langevine, a key player for Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elyon, led his team to a hard-fought victory over the closely-ranked Kiryat Ata with a final score of 113-108. During the game, Langevine showcased his talent by achieving a double-double performance, scoring 11 points, securing 10 rebounds, and making 3 assists in 35 minutes of play. It was an outstanding display of skill and determination that helped propel his team to triumph. Notably, this is Langevine's debut season with the team, and his impact on the court has been significant. Throughout the current season, Langevine has been a consistent performer, averaging 8.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game across 26 appearances. His remarkable contributions on the court highlight his capabilities as a champion player and a valuable asset to his team.

#5. Canadian champion Javonte Brown-Ferguson, a 7'0'' center, is a 23-year-old basketball player who graduated from URI in 2025. He received the USBasket.com All-CEBL League Honorable Mention award in the same year. Currently playing professionally in Canada, Brown-Ferguson recently showcased his skills in a game where his team, the Calgary Surge, faced off against the Shooting Stars in Toronto. Despite his impressive performance, where he achieved a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds in just 24 minutes, the Calgary Surge ultimately fell short, losing 106-104. This marked their fifth consecutive loss in the Regular Season, with the team currently holding a 0-5 record. In another game against Scarborough, Brown-Ferguson once again displayed his talent by contributing 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists. Despite his remarkable efforts, the Calgary Surge was unable to secure a win. Brown-Ferguson's exceptional performance in this game even earned him the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his status as a finalist. Throughout the season, Brown-Ferguson has maintained relatively good statistics, averaging 11.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game across three games. Although the Calgary Surge has faced challenges early on, Brown-Ferguson's skills and determination suggest that there is still potential for success as the season progresses.
