Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Bulls players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Look at great performance of Tyler Harris (34 points), Angel Nunez (10 points), and Brandon Stroud (16 points).
#1. Tyler Harris, the 27-year-old point guard standing at 5'9'' who graduated from the University of South Florida in 2023, currently plays professional basketball in Denmark. In a recent game, he unfortunately could not lead Naestved (25-7) to victory against the Bakken Bears, who are currently leading in the Places 1-6 group. Despite his remarkable performance, where he scored an impressive 34 points and contributed 3 assists in 36 minutes of play, Naestved ultimately fell short and lost 87-81 at home. Harris has been a standout player this season, consistently delivering strong performances. He has been the top scorer for his team, averaging 17.7 points per game along with 2.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists. Despite his individual success, Harris and Naestved were unable to secure a win against the Bakken Bears in their recent matchup.
#2. Experienced champion Angel Nunez, a 6'8'' power forward who is 33 years old and an alumnus of the Bulls from 2016, currently plays professionally in Poland. Unfortunately, in their recent game last Saturday, Nunez could not assist WKS Slask Wroclaw (20-10) as they suffered a tough 71-54 defeat on the road against the lower-ranked Arka (#6). Despite the loss, Nunez managed to emerge as the second-best scorer for Slask with 10 points and also showcased his defensive skills with 2 blocks in just 23 minutes of play. This marks Nunez's first season with the team, and he has been making significant contributions on the court. His performance against Arka, where he scored 10 points and grabbed 2 rebounds, displayed his capabilities. However, despite his commendable efforts, Slask was unable to secure the victory in that game. Throughout the current season, Nunez has been maintaining an average of 9.0 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game, showcasing his value to the team. Additionally, it is worth noting that Nunez is a naturalized Dominican player, bringing his talent and experience to the professional basketball scene in Poland.
#3. Brandon Stroud, a 6'6'' guard who is 24 years old and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2025, showcased his skills while playing professionally in New Zealand. However, in a recent game for the Taranaki Airs, who are currently at a 3-7 record, Stroud was unable to lead his team to victory. Despite his notable performance, where he scored 16 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and provided 2 assists in 25 minutes of play, the Airs suffered a crushing 113-86 defeat against the second-ranked Rams in Christchurch. Throughout the season, Stroud has maintained solid statistics, averaging 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. His talent and contributions on the court have been recognized, especially considering his background as a former participant in the prestigious Eurobasket Summer League, known for nurturing players aspiring to compete in international basketball leagues.
#4. Victor Rudd, a 6'9'' power forward and 35-year-old Bulls alumnus from 2014, is currently playing professionally in Uruguay. In a recent Uruguayan Liga Uruguaya de Basquetbol matchup, Rudd, unfortunately, could not lead Defensor (15-17) to a victory over Penarol (26-6), the top team in the league. Despite his efforts, Rudd's performance fell short during the game, as he only managed to score 3 points in 10 minutes of play. The game ended in a disappointing 81-61 loss for Defensor, who currently holds the sixth position in the league standings. Even though Rudd contributed 3 points and 1 rebound against Penarol, it wasn't enough to secure a win for his team. This game may not be remembered as one of Rudd's best performances, considering the outcome. However, throughout the season, Rudd has maintained relatively solid statistics, averaging 14.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. Despite the recent setback, Rudd remains a key player for Defensor and will continue to strive for success in future games.
#5. Puerto Rican Jose Placer-Diaz, a 6'1'' guard who is 26 years old and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2024, was instrumental in helping his team win the AAC Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Puerto Rico, Placer-Diaz recently faced a tough match where his team, Indios de Mayaguez, was unable to defeat the strong Capitanes team in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. Despite his efforts, Placer-Diaz struggled in the game, scoring only 2 points in 1 minute of playing time. The fourth-placed Indios de Mayaguez suffered a 95-85 defeat at the hands of the second-ranked Capitanes in the Group A matchup held in Arecibo. This loss marked the sixth consecutive defeat for Indios de Mayaguez in the season. Although Placer-Diaz managed to contribute 2 points to the team's total score in the game against Arecibo, it was not enough to secure the much-needed victory. Throughout this season, Placer-Diaz has been averaging 2.6 points per game, showcasing his skills and determination on the court despite the challenging circumstances.
#6. Chris Perry, a 31-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and an alumnus of Railsplitters from 2017, showcased his basketball prowess in a recent game in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico. Playing professionally in Mexico, Perry's contribution was instrumental in his team's dominant 112-84 victory over the seventh-ranked Caballeros de Culiacan on Saturday night. In just 18 minutes of play, Perry displayed his skills by scoring 14 points, pulling down 8 rebounds, and executing 2 blocks. His performance against Culiacan was noteworthy, with his 14 points and 8 rebounds playing a crucial role in leading his team to triumph. Perry's consistent excellence on the court not only secured the win but also reinforced his standing as a champion player. Throughout the season, Perry has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.4 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. His impressive contributions both offensively and defensively have undoubtedly contributed to his team's success, further solidifying his reputation as a finalist player in the league.
#7. Josh Omojafo, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from the University of South Florida in 2026 after helping them secure the AAC Regular Season Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in Canada. Recently, he made a significant impact in a game where the Brampton Honey Badgers emerged victorious against the Sea Bears with a score of 96-92 in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. In this game, Omojafo showcased his skills by contributing 10 points in 24 minutes of play. Moreover, Omojafo continued to shine in another matchup against Winnipeg, where he not only scored an impressive 10 points but also grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out 1 assist. His stellar performance helped lead his team to victory, ultimately securing the champion title for his team in that game. Throughout the current season, Omojafo has been maintaining an average of 6.4 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per game, showcasing his consistency and valuable contributions to his team's success.
