Al Riyadi clinch the title in Chenzhou - Sep 30, 2017

Al Riyadi - Xinjiang FT 88-59 Al Riyadi claimed the Asia Champions Cup title. They outgunned Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the Final in Chenzhou tonight. Six players scored in double digits for the Lebanese team. Chris Daniels (205-C-84, college: Texas A&M-CC) accounted for 21 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Al Riyadi dominated from start to finish in this one. They recorded a 46:26 halftime lead. Riyadi used a 21:11 run in the third term to clear off for good. Quincy Douby (190-G-84, college: Rutgers) accounted for 17 points, while Mohamad Haidar (201-F-90, college: Michigan Tech) added 14 points for the champions. Gen Li (197-F-88) answered with 14 points for the Flying Tigers. Makan Kelanbaike (197-F-92) and Changdong Yu (206-C-91) had 11 points each in the loss.
3-4 Place
Petrochimi - Astana 78-81 Astana celebrated the Bronze medals at the Asia Champions Cup. They defeated Petrochimi in the consolation final today. Anthony Clemmons (186-PG-94, college: Iowa) delivered 22 points to pace the Kazakh champions. Astana eked out a 38:37 halftime lead. The teams went neck and neck throughout the third term. Astana entered the final period up by just one one point. They however held Petrochimi to just 17 points in the fourth period and snatched the victory. Justin Carter (193-G/F-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) delivered 19 points in the win. Behnam Yakhchali (196-SG-95) responded with 18 points for Petrochimi.
5-6 Place
Mono Vampire - Pilipinas 79-89 Chooks-To-Go finished their Chenzhou campaign on a high note. They beat Mono Vampire to occupy the fifth position. Isaiah Austin (216-C-93, college: Baylor) stepped up with impressive 37 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks for the winners. Mono Vampire posted a 28:22 lead ten minutes into the game. But Chooks-To-Go responded with a 24:12 run in the third quarter to take a 9-point lead. They added 23 points in the fourth period to snatch the victory. Kiefer Isaac Ravena (181-G/F-93) had 18 points in the win. Michael Singletary (198-F-88, college: Texas Tech) responded with 30 points and 12 rebounds for Mono Vampire.
7-8 Place
Dacin Tigers - Ahli Shabab 103-58 Dacin Tigers earned the seventh position at the tournament. They stormed past Ashli Shabab in the final day. Lu Ji-Er (176-G-92) and Yu-Chun Lo (185-G-88) produced 20 points each for the Taiwanese team. Dacin Tigers piled up a comfortable 43:33 halftime lead. They unloaded 60 points in the second half to cruise to the victory. Chang Chia-Jung (194-F-88) added 18 points for the winners. Qais Alshabebi (200-C-91) replied with 37 points and 16 rebounds for Al Ahli.
